Appointments and Office Procedures

Our office is normally open Monday through Thursday from 8AM until 12Noon and 1PM until 5:00PM. We are open Friday from 8:00AM until 3:00PM. It is important to schedule appointments in advance, if possible. There is at least one physician in our office every day we are open. Patients with a problem who need to be seen immediately should call our office and have a nurse arrange their being seen as soon as possible by one of our providers even if your regular doctor is not in the office that day. Our main number is (919)467-3203. -To make an appointment, select Option #2 from our automated answering machine system. -If you are calling to speak to a nurse about your symptoms and being seen immediately, choose option 4 -There are other options available to obtain prescription refills, speak to our business office regarding your account, or reach our radiology department.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

  • Your insurance Card

  • Physician referral forms, if required by your insurance provider

  • The dose and frequency of any prescription and/or over-the-counter medications you are taking

  • Previous urologic evalutaions and testing

Emergencies and After-Hours Care

Should a patient be in severe distress and not able to reach us, they should immediately go to the nearest emergency room at their local hospital. Our physicians have privileges at all the area's major hospitals including Western Wake Medical Center, Rex Hospital, and Wake Medical Center. Our physicians rotate on-call hours with a Urology Call Group. When calling our office after hours, you will be given the option to leave a message for non-urgent inquiries or an option to reach one of the on-call physicians immediately.
