Daniel Khera-McRackan, MD

Dr. Daniel McRackan is a board-certified urologist. He joined Landmark Urology and Complementary Medicine in the summer of 2009. He completed his residency and internship in Urology, in the Department of Surgery, at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Dr. McRackan earned his Doct or of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He is a current member of Alpha Omega Alpha, and throughout his academic career was awarded various research and scholarship awards.
His most recent research includes a Randomized controlled trial comparing Robotic-Assisted Laparoscopic Radical Cystectomy to Open Radical Cystectomy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Department of Surgery, Division of Urology. Dr. McRackan has also been involved in a study investigating characteristics and outcomes of incidental renal masses as well as a study investigating the role of Prostascint Scanning in the diagnosis of recurrent prostate cancer. He has been published in publications such as Journal of Urology and Nature Cell Biology.
