Norman J. Goldbach, MD, is a board-certified urologist at the Associated Urologists of North Carolina, currently seeing patients out of the Wake Forest office. For Dr. Goldbach, striving to be the best doctor is key — whether it’s while performing clinical care and surgery or learning new procedures and treatments.
He began his journey to become a doctor at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry with a minor in mathematics. Dr. Goldbach graduated summa cum laude and received a Chemistry Achievement Award.
His medical school achievements at Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia were equally impressive, graduating with honors. During his medical school years, he was recognized for Excellence in Clinical Medicine and was a member of the Hare Honor Medical Society.
Upon graduation, Dr. Goldbach continued on to Mercy Hospital, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he did an internship, followed by a general surgery residency. Dr. Goldbach rounded out his postdoctoral training with a residency in urology at Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio, where he served as the chief resident and a clinical instructor.
In addition to his work with his patients at the Associated Urologists of North Carolina, Dr. Goldbach is a member of the American Urological Association and American Medical Association.
